Bedford House Retreat

Quirky little house well situated for the centre of town and easy walking distance. It has two bedrooms which are very comfortable a fully equipped kitchen and a bathroom with shower over bath. The vinyl record collection and player entertained us one rainy afternoon.

The stairs are very steep which my mother struggled with but she did manage and she's 91!

Very quirky. Comfy beds. Brilliant location.

Very noisy people above who stomped so hard that the ceiling shook! Still playing loud music and stomping at 3am in the morning, so not ideal really. Shame as such a lovely house in a great location, but it spoilt the holiday due to being unable to sleep. They were like this all day and night.

The old fashioned style

Good location near restaurants . Room comfy and good size.

Everything was fine

Quirky and fun decor. Wi-Fi works downstairs. Well equipped. Reasonable price

Heard the neighbours rowing and shouting. In a pretty ‘interesting’ part of town. Wifi doesn’t work upstairs. Need to keep the curtains closed in the morning unless you like to be overlooked by the neighbours while getting dressing.

The location was good. The house had everything in it what we needed.
