The Old Forge, Trafalgar Court

Loved the location, so close to central York, but wonderfully secluded. Lovely walks and open space within easy reach of the property, particularly out along the River Ouse. Property well provisioned, loads of space for a couple or small family. Comfortable beds, good TV service, excellent kitchen with all mod cons. What a wonderful find ... we will definitely plan to stay again.

The carpet had marks on it various area.

Location was great for walking into the town which allowed us to walk our dogs. The location was easy to find and there was parking next to the house. There was a small supermarket, good restaurants and pubs all within easy walking distance. The garden space was also ideal for the dogs. The hosts were extremely helpful.

All was good although the bed was a little soft for us (but everyone was different). Getting into the parking space was a little tight and if we had had a larger car we may not have managed. However there was plenty of space in the street and the tight parking was mentioned by the hosts.

Nice place in a quiet area but with easy walking access to the centre of York.

If you want to drive around to park at the place, the lane is very, very tight to manoeuvre. Leaving the flat I also couldn't fit all the keys back in the security box. It was really fiddly.
