A good, quiet location for visiting the city centre while maintaining access to good dog-walking territory (the racecourse). With the exception of the conservatory extension, which housed the dining table, the house was warm and comfortable.

Because the dining area was quite cold, a coffee table, or side tables, in the lounge area would have been useful.

Right by a park for dog walks and lovely walk along the river to the city centre. The house was well equipped and cosy. Loved the bath, pub round the corner was so convenient. Perfect for 2 people, relaxing and would return.

Nothing wrong with the sofa but not comfy for us. Missed a coffee table or similar to put drinks on. TV quite unusual to work but we managed! One side of bed much more worn. Felt home from home because several jobs need doing like the sealant around the bath, did not affect our stay. No freezer for ice! Not enough chairs for 4 adults.

The tight alleyway to and from the house.

A light outside the door would make it easier to access the door and to see the steps at the entrance to the door and to easy access the key look. It was extremely dark on our arrival and our return after our day out . The property could do with a little TLC. Carpets have very visible stains in the lounge, the bathroom extractor fan isn’t working and the bathroom has damp on the ceilings as well as the grouting needing attention due to the damp. The light switch into the bathroom is in an awkward position and catching on the door . Overall a pleasant stay with the added benefit of having toiletries available .
