Jasmine Lodge with Hot Tub

The facilities on site, the check in and out process was simple, the site was quiet, the hot tub was great.

The furniture was heavily stained and the wardrobe in the main bedroom was unusable because it was dangerously full of baby furniture and spare bedding. The kitchen equipment was very basic and in need of updating.

Jjs restaurant was really good. The lodge we stayed in was not jasmine it was opposite lake which was nice. The main bedroom was comfy Showers were good. The hot tub was lovely but only used it once cos of the bad weather

The lodge didn't look as though it had been cleaned. Cobwebs in every room. We reported this but reception were not helpful at all. Also the patio door handle was loose they said they would get someone to it but never did. Toilet roll holder was there but not connected to wall. Suite in living area was not comfy at all. You could write your name in the dust on the shelves. Not much to do in the surrounding area. The plough inn we visited was cosy but the staff not very welcoming and friendly.

I arrived to be told that I had been moved to another lodge without been told when booking, I was moved to a lodge which was nothing like id paid for I got told on reception that the owner was no longer renting out now to be told it had double booked so got lied to. I paid a lot of money to be put in a lodge that was smaller and no where near as nice as the one id booked. I will not be returning again I have been previous and never had problems but this just ruined my whole stay. Absolutely disgusted.

Although we really loved the hot tub and the water and tub were lovely and clean the hot tub itself is tired with parts of it needing to be repaired / replaced. The cover is in a poor state of repair. A small note; the kettle needs to be descaled. Heavy scale resulting in scaly bits in our lovely cuppas :( Seat covers on both sofas stained.

Absolutely loved every minute of my stay, the lodge had everything you needed for your stay, the hot tub was amazing and the place was clean and modern. Will definitely be booking and returning again soon.
