The apartment was small but big enough for 4 of us. Good shower, comfortable bed. All the things you need for a couple of days stay, including tea and coffee. Host sent some things to do in york and there was plenty of info leaflets in the apartment.

Stairs abit steep for my gran but she managed. And this was communicated before arrival so was expected.

The house was lovely a real home from home with everything we needed for the weekend. It was also in a great location with a very short walk into York and the Minster.

The location was perfect, very close to York centre, and right next to a Sainsbury's. The house was lovely, very clean and the beds were comfortable. We got a bonus bottle of wine and some cake which was great! The host was brilliant and communicated with us regularly via text. The house itself was really nice and included everything we needed, the shower was modern and the sofa's were comfortable. It was really easy to access the keys in the lock box, and there is a little patio area out the back.

We only had one towel each, it would have been good to have 2 to dry our hair, but it wasn't a biggie!! Not the hosts fault, but parking was tricky. We were told you can book Sainsbury's for 24 hour parking via their website in advance, I couldn't do this so decided to pay when we arrived. Unfortunately you can only park for 2hrs max at Sainsbury's if you don't book in advance and I'm still not certain how to do this. We used Monk Bar car park which was £20 for 24hrs, after this we managed to get in the Black horse pub car park, which was £5 for 24 hours! This was by far the best, you just pay at the bar and there is quite a lot of spaces, so we recommend you try there first.

Perfect location, and some lovely touches from the owner. Will definitely stay here again if/when we return to York.
