"Lovely stay in the perfect location!"

Brilliant location on a lovely little street. Really cute house that served everything we needed for our 2 night stay in York for a wedding. I would recommend this place to everyone and I would definitely stay again.

"A lovely place to stay and celebrate our daughters graduation!"

The house was lovely, perfect location, very clean and nice little touches (not only tea and coffee, but also milk, cake and a bottle of wine in the fridge).

Nothing! It was very hot in the house when we were there, but that was down to the heatwave outside, nothing to do with the house!

"Only the parking keeps this from being flawless"

Property was stocked with everything we might have needed - soap, detergent, blankets, spices, feminine products… host thought of everything! Really felt like a home away from home. Very clean and centrally located.

Parking. A parking pass would have been appreciated; neighbors report any car without a permit within minutes, and finding a lot is a bit of a hassle (though Sainsbury’s is the best option).

The property was very clean. The welcome wine, cake and basics such as tea and coffee are good welcome treats especially when one has been travel. The Location of the property is great, only a few minutes walk to the city centre.

Unlocking the safe lock to access the keys was quiet difficult. A more modern safe lock would be better.

"Perfect Location. Great Host."

The location is perfect to the York Minster. There was no parking on-site but we parked at the Black Horse Pub across the road £5 per night and a safe location. The city was completely walkable.

There was nothing not to like It as described and we enjoyed ourselves.

"Perfect place to stay"

Absolutely brilliant house, a home away from home . Close to everything and yet so quiet on the street. Decorated to a very high standard. Owner Louise was fantastic with information and communication. Highly recommend, we will be back

Well presented property in a good location within York, loved the extra touches Louise added like chocolates, cake , tea , coffee , milk etc which showed she cares for those staying at the property. Highly recommended for anyone staying in York
