"Louise the host made our stay extra special for our friends 40th by putting up banners, cake, and fizz for our arrival."

The property was very homely and inviting.

We found it strange having the bathroom downstairs but we got on with it and still had a fab weekend.

"Can we stay again next time we are in York please"

The owner has obviously put a lot of thought and effort into this property it had everything you would need for your stay (even an umbrella for guests) it is that good I am tempted to try to play it down as I want to be sure we can stay their again next time we visit York. I can go on about how clean it is, the wonderful information folder prepared by the owner and the other little details that make No 7 stand out but perhaps our 14 year old God Daughter summed it up when she said " they have thought of everything" praise from a teenager !!

There is nothing we did not like about this property.

"Exceptional"

Lovely property very close to the Minster. Louise was very attentive and kind. Beds were lovely and comfy, and we appreciated the kids books, leaflets, tea and coffee etc. Will be recommending to family and friends.

No parking directly at the property - had to park at a pub down the road at a small extra cost (pub was nice though)

"Excellent house in York city centre"

The location was excellent for the city centre. The house itself was very clean, lovely decor and well equipped. The beds were very comfortable with plenty of bedding, pillows etc The host left us some little extras (milk, cake, wine etc) which were very much appreciated All correspondence with the host was excellent Would highly recommend this house, I would definitely stay again. Great value for money

Stairs were quite narrow but very minor in the grand scheme of things
