Peace Lodge with Hot Tub

Fantastic lodge on an amazing site, location was ideal for day trips to York, Harrogate & Leeds. The lodge had everything you would expect and far more, would definitely recommend this as a place to stay and will definitely be coming back.

There was nothing to dislike

Clean and although had a issue with hot tub which a member of staff sorted

Bed mattress uncomfortable. The deposit a little steep and didn't hold they took the money then you have to wait for refund

The mattresses need replacing or a topper especially the double bed very uncomfortable

the whole stay was absolutely exceptional. lodge was excellent clean good quality staff excellent friendly and very helpful. location is fantastic tranquil and great for relaxing. hot tub was great too I’ll definitely be back sooner rather than later.

Good location and the site was quiet

It was a real shame as the property was very dirty and covered in thick dog hair. A member of staff came on our second day to hoover for us which we appreciated. The hot tub also stopped working and we unable to use this. I have emailed with pictures and asked for assistance with this complaint but I am yet to have a reply a week later. Very disappointed, as I have never had to leave a poor review before.

Spacious and clean lodge with everything we needed. The electric hot tub was a bonus. The site was very peaceful, with good greenery around. Was allocated a similar neighbouring unit at the last minute, but pleasantly realised it was an upgrade with an extra room.

Instructions for the use of the hot tub wasn't provided, even after request, but that's minor as I later realised the hot tub doesn't need to be turned off after use.

Loved all the extra touches inside the lodge - it had everything we needed and the homely touches made it so welcoming. Staff on site were so helpful and we had the friendliest local taxi driver take us to and from York whilst there. We will be back again.

Great stay. Close to the park and ride so getting into York is easy. The lodge itself is something else, really nice, high quality. The hot tub was preset which was amazing. Overall we loved it.

Location is lovely, the lodge was perfectly clean and tidy, with more space than I had expected. The decking is great, I loved that it is gated as we had our little dog with us. Hot tub was super.

I'm sorry to report that the bed in the main bedroom was not comfortable for us.
