Beautiful setting well looked after sight and staff very helpful. The lodge was spacious and comfortable with nice large deck and sitting area and hot tub was lovely and well maintained. I don't drive but had no problem getting a taxi from York plenty of choice. Nice sitting area outside JJs. The lake areas are lovely and would recommend a lodge with a lake view. Overall a very nice stay.

Very disappointed with the meal we had at JJs chips over cooked and desert of apple strudel was also overcooked mentioned this to the waitress but no action was taken. The kettle in the lodge was terrible full of limescale and the tea towel had black mould on it also found a leak under the sink. These issues were dealt with very quickly by staff.

"Amazing peaceful getaway."

Fantastic location, the park is so peaceful and clean, the lodge was superb and in a great area and the hot tub was a hit 👌 Staff were friendly and the food at JJs onsite was perfect, great portions and service from all the staff. Will definitely be returning.

Nothing we didn't like, was great.

Great well equipped lodge. Good Location Hot tub was fab Beds were comfy 2 bathrooms worked great

No key safe code provided...had to message twice to request info AFTER check in time. Was told a request for birthday card would be honoured as a surprise for my partner but this didnt happen and message was removed without notifying myself. Smelly wet mop left on carpet in cupboard/cloak room Bucket with smelly, dirty water in cupboard next to entrance Plastic bag left under bed in main bedroom Loose screw on carpet tread on entrance to twin bedroom caused foot injury. ...this could have been quite serious if a child ran into it

"5* Lodge - The Perfect Break"

Gorgeous lodge, absolutely pristine with everything possible you could need for a self catering break. Easy check in, so clean and tidy, hot tub ready.....what more can you ask for?! Perfect location, the park is so peaceful and quiet. Lovely tea and cakes from the restaurant at lunch. Didn't choose to go in for a meal in the evening but it did look lovely inside. Couldn't fault it AT ALL. Perfect home from home.

Absolutely nothing. Maybe some hangers for towels near the hot tub?
