Location is close to all York attractions but in a quiet area It’s clean and comfortable with everything you could need for your stay. Beds are super comfortable Modern and clean

Close proximity to centre of York

The street was very narrow and unkempt. The advertisement for the apartment was deceiving. It looked much better in the photos. No room in the bedroom to open a suitcase or no cupboards . The backyard was terrible . No outlook. There was a pod coffee machine but no pods.

Good location, spacious , clean and everything provided. Good communication with host.

Kitchen pans, saucepans could be updated.

Fairly decent location in a local neighbourhood About 15 mins walk to York Old Town Free street parking which is a huge plus Quiet street Newly renovated and fairly well maintained Nicely decorated Comfy beds and more than sufficient linens provided

Host was not responsive and defensive when asked for teabags and wine or champagne which was listed in the amenities provided. If the list of amenities is outdated then the host should change it as it is misleading especially when it was pointed out to him at check-in. There was also only 1 dish washing pod and 1 laundry detergent pod on the 1st night we checked in. We booked for 3 nights! We had to go to the supermarket to purchase more. Host insisted that there was a new box of tea bags on the counter when there wasn't. He finally refilled the on our last night there (we booked for 3 nights) as well as the dishwashing and laundry pods. The frying pan's non stick material was peeling off and the host said he will order a new one but unfortunately did not arrive in time for our stay. A broken chair back was put aside and taken away by the host.

Steep stairs Street parking very narrow and no turning space.

The decor, beds/bedding, facilities, location, communication with the owner, parking permit.

No hand wash/soap in the bathrooms, would also recommend a small bin in each bathroom. Stairs quite steep but manageable for able bodied guests. A couple of cobwebs high in the corner of main bedroom however would still happily stay again.
