"Perfect for a weekend away with friends"

Firstly, the host was very friendly and helped us when we needed. Secondly, the location was brilliant - just outside of central York. It's only about a 15-20min walk to the centre and you leave the main road before it starts getting busy. Lastly, the property itself was perfect for our needs (girls' weekend for 3). The living room is a very comfy place to end a day of shopping and exploring York.

"Lovely home and lovely host"

Very clean and modern. Cosy and very central to all we wanted to see. Well equipped kitchen and had all you would need for a break away.

Would have liked bath sheets instead of bath towels but that was a minor thing.

Excellent location. Only a short walk to the Shambles and York minster. Has parking outside and was everything we wanted for a weekend away

"Beautiful house, very well located to York Centre."

The location was amazing and the property very clean, everything you need is at hand. It is an extremely quiet neighbourhood. The beds are super comfy and I’m fussy with mattresses. Clear information provided and the host is a lovely lady. We walked all the way around the neighbourhood to get onto the main road into town, however there is actually a short cut off to the right as you leave the property through the resident parking. It saved 5-10 minutes off our journey into town.

There’s nothing I didn’t like but if I had to mention anything, it would be the need for a summer duvet. We were very lucky with the weather so it was very warm at night.

"Brilliant place, great location and presented beautifully."

Property was very easy to get to and parking was excellent just outside. The walk to the centre was lovely along the riverside only 10 minutes from centre.

The internet was a bit unstable to watch tv on broadband, but didn't affect the stay as we hardly watched any.
