Thomas, Off Leeman Road

I appreciated that the house and accommodations were just as pictured and described - clean and spacious, the high end appliances and the available directions for their use! Great house with room for all.

Thomas was lovely, well laid out, and beautifully put together. We had everything we needed, plenty of space, comfy beds and somewhere to park the car. Only a short 30 minute walk (meander) into York centre, and only £6 in a taxi (for tired feet!) Had a lovely stay. Thank you

Only one very small thing was the placement of the double bed in the first floor bedroom, which meant there was no night stand next to the bed, but it was still workable.

The house was very clean, tidy and spacious for the 8 of us. The beds were very comfortable and the pillows were the best I've ever slept on. The welcoming box was a very nice gesture. All in all we had a great weekend's stay

Some of the floorboards creaked, the double bed seemed really small, only one side of the toaster worked and there weren't enough champagne glasses. These are only very minor issues that wouldn't stop me staying here if I visited York again.

Location, cleanliness, facilities

Loved the location had everything we needed for a base in York! Lovely and homely and very clean! One bathroom had a little bit of hair etc in the corners but other than that very clean all the way through!

Some neighbours were quite loud at night so had to shut the windows as would keep us up at night!

Very clean and comfortable. Location was excellent. Well stocked with crockery etc. Towels in good supply.

We’d have liked clearer instructions regarding controlling the heating.

The location bof the property was great. It was clean and very comfortable.

House was perfect for 4 couples having a break and a catch up!!

Only slight problem was parking for more than 1 vehicle..but we got our heads around that..
