Everything about the house was wonderful! An added bonus were the bikes which enables to see a lot and made us feel at home right away.

"Cozy, useful, compact, low head height"

Nice adjacancy to bus stops - which we found were a brilliant way to get around. Pay for a day pass if using >3 buses per day.. google made reliable plans that we easily followed. Quiet neighborhood.

Taxidrivers are 100% unaware of how to get there... We were a family of 5 using two different cabs.... Both had to drop us of >500m away (and we had the address written in both english and japanese. None understood english. House is very cozy however not suited for someone at 190cm tall.... Bumped my head plenty.

Amazing position very close to main attractions and metro subway. Full of information to enjoy Kyoto. Very nice house to feel like home.

Main bedroom smelled a little bit of humidity. Clearer instructions to use the shower and the laundry would be a plus

This is a wonderful place to stay. It is beautiful and has everything one needs to discover Kyoto – even a bicycle rental. And the owner is a fantastic and very helpful man!

The instructions to enter the place for the first time and to use the different appliances (e.g. ventilator) could be clearer. It took me a bit to figure everything out. But as I said above, it's a wonderful place.

"Wonderful Home in Kyoto"

The house is very charming and cozy. We appreciated that there are many places nearby to get good food, including grocery stores, bakeries, and restaurants. It was hot outside, but the air conditioners in the house worked very well. The home's owner gave us a nice overview of the house and neighborhood when we arrived.

Great location, nice to have a whole house while n Kyoto. everything worked well in the house and was comfortable. very nice host who took a lot of time to help us plan our stay and give advice and show us around the house.

the house was quite outdated - the bathroom etc, but just aesthetic, everything worked and was comfortable
