Kamon Inn Inari

Perfecte locatie, prijs/kwaliteit top!

After coming from Tokyo, this felt like a real Japanese experience. I loved the authentic feel of a Japanese home with all the comforts of home. Very large property which catered very well for our family of 4. The futon beds were a concern at first but were actually quite comfortable. I used 2 mattresses on mine instead of 1 and this made a big difference. Loved that there were 2 toilets, 2 sink areas and a washing machine. The kids loved using the full sized bath and the quick filling attachment. Kitchen had everything you needed as well as the bathroom. VERY clean and everything worked as it should. Host communicated well and answered all my queries well. Location was great. 1 minute walk to both a Family Mart and a Lawsons as well as easy access to 3 different train lines. Also walking distance to Fushimi Inari which was great as we could easily go very early or late to avoid the mass crowds. There were a lot of food options in the area including a little open air food court which was incredibly delicious. Great little shops and places to explore.

The stairs were very steep, as it is traditional Japanese, so if this is an issue, please note. It was a running joke that I kept hitting my head on the hanging light downstairs. You need to duck, I clearly couldn't get used to it :) Not about the booking itself, but note that in Kyoto you have to pay accommodation tax which is per person and how many days you stay. This is on top of the booking price. Ours was Y4800 for 4 people for 6 nights.

C’est une très joli maison traditionnelle japonaise. C’est très spacieux.

Il y avait des travaux très bruyants dans la maison juste à côté. Ça a gâché notre plaisir.

Très bel hébergement extrêmement bien situé près d’un quartier vivant avec pleins de restaurants. Excellent pour visiter fushimi-inari.

Rien. Toutefois plus d’équipement de cuisine aurait été apprécier, notamment un grille pain, des couteaux, une spatule, un linge pour nettoyer la table, etc

The location is perfect! The house was bright, clean, and in a friendly neighborhood 3 minutes from a train station and 7 minutes from Fushimi Inari. We walked to Fushimi Inari at 7am before breakfast and had a beautiful quiet experience there instead of navigating huge crowds of people, which was our experience the day before at 10am. Everything in the house was immaculate and appeared new. It was extremely comfortable and easy.

Nothing! This place needs a new cover photo for the listing. The photo makes the place look way worse than it actually is. It’s beautiful and perfect for a large family.

Cool thing to try out! Had the roll out beds and aliding screen doors, but the living area and bathrooms still felt modern. The garden outside was really cute. Perfect location if you want to check out Fushimi Inari outside of peak hours.

The way the rooms flow was a lil weird. Two bedrooms upstairs, one down. To access the toilets, shower, or laundry you need to walk through the downstairs bedroom. Not a big deal for adults who can communicate, though. Also, try to check out early if you have big bags. Crossing the tracks with luggage after the crowds had already started was not fun.
