Kamon Inn Inari

The location and price is amazing. Close to the Infinite Torii Gates and train stations for easy access to Kyoto Station. It was a stunning traditional Japanese Townhouse that you could tell has been loved. It has modern facilities making it a very efficient and functional house. The water pressure in the large bathroom was great!

Since it is an older traditional place, it did show signs of being quite dusty. That were many place that hard large build ups of soft dust and cobwebs. The traditional mats to sleep on were old and stained. Some had hair stuck to them from previous guests and probably need to be completely replaced. Be aware, it's advertised as 3 bedroom, but is more suitable for 2 bedroom and 1 sitting area as the one down stairs connects 2 toilets and the main dining area. If you are traveling with elderly or disabled people who have mobility issues, I don't recommend and would suggest a normal hotel. It's has a small but extremely steep set of stairs connecting the floors, so again, not the best for aging or disabled. Upon arrival, there was a form to fill out for "helping minimize the spread of covid" that required passport details and temperature checks of everyone. We didn't have a thermometer to check so had to leave it blank.

It’s a 2 story house in a very quiet neighbourhood. The 2 toilets and 1 bath is situated on the 1st floor. There are 2 rooms upstairs. The location is close to Fushimi-Inari station and Inari station. There is Family Mart nearby. The living room and kitchen are well equipped and comfortable. The futons are thick and comfy. Everything is very clean.

The stairs are narrow, could be dangerous for kids and elderly. Both the toilet are situated downstairs and you’ll have to pass through the room to go to the bathroom.

This property is very clean and spacious in a good location. It has a nice traditional feel and has everything you need. Good to have two toilets. Good neighbourhood and not far from the train station.

The description states that tea and coffe are provided. There was no tea or coffee. Not a major, but if you say you provide something you should provide it.

The house is big and i get to expirience in staying local house instead of hotel. The house has beautiful enterior and very near to fushimi inari. I can go to other places easily as it near the train station.

Lovely house with all we needed. Easy to walk to two different lines, and very close to the Inari shrine. Very responsive to messages.

Lots of room, lovely and clean. Would definitely stay again and great for a family.

The front door was difficult to open and close and many things I regard as basic necessities are missing. No paper towels etc to help us keep the place clean for six day stay. We weren't sure what to do with rubbish either as it built up.
