The property was on the shirakawa canal. The canal lined with willow trees and a temple entrance nearly added so much charm to the place. I can't express how beautiful it was. In front of the property there was an area where the locals come to hang out and kids playing in the water made our stay felt like local rather than tourist. The property itself was meticulously clean. The bathroom was the best part with singing toilet. If we come back to kyoto, we would definitely love to stay here again.

"Traditional tea house on a quiet corner"

Great location, lovely renovation, beautiful views from the living room. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

There was a mistake about the number of real beds, which we were not informed of till after the cancellation period had passed.

Die Unterkunft war wirklich perfekt. Besonders gefallen haben uns die Sauberkeit, die große und gut ausgestattete Unterkunft sowie die hervorragende Lage direkt in Kyoto. Das traditionelle japanische Haus hatte eine sehr angenehme Atmosphäre und war eine tolle Erfahrung. Man hat sich sofort wohlgefühlt.

Eigentlich gab es nichts Negatives. Unser Aufenthalt war rundum gelungen.

"Alojamiento perfecto para descubrir Kyoto"

La calidad de la casa es excepcional. Las habitaciones, el baño, todo esta pensado para sentirte muy cómodo. La ubicación es genial, a dos pasos del barrio de las Geishas y justo en un bonito río. El mejor alojamiento de todo nuestro viaje por Japón. Muy recomendable.

El checkin fue un poco más complejo que en otros alojamientos, teniendo que aportar online los datos y pasaportes de todos los huéspedes. Por la mañana entra mucha luz en las habitaciones, no hay persianas opacas que bloqueen la luz.
