"Great home-alike stay, highly recommended"

Great villa for 5 people - 2 double rooms and one single room. Nice to experience a home-style Japanese experience, much different from hotel stays. Easy check in and check out process. It was possible to leave our luggage earlier on the day of arrival, which was super useful.

The only thing was that we couldn’t find the stairs for the second floor for 5 min and starting panicking that we would all sleep in the living room 🙃

Merci beaucoup. Notre séjour dans la villa Kotone a été un agréable moment, une belle expérience dans une maison japonaise. La proximité de la gare et des bus et l’accueil de notre hôte qui nous a bien conseillé.

"Un hôte formidable pour un logement extrêmement bien placé"

L'accueil était formidable ! L'hôte était là à notre arrivée, il nous a tout expliqué, et a pris beaucoup de temps pour nous donner des conseils sur les lieux de viste de la ville. Pendant le séjour et même après, il répond très rapidement aux messages. C'est plus que parfait. Le logement est bien équipé, nous avons eu tout ce qu'il nous fallait, et c'est très bien positionné.

Comme la majorité des maisons japonaises, ce n'est pas très bien isolé. Malgré la climatisation, nous avons eu un peu froid lors de notre séjour (début mars), surtout dans la salle de bain.

"Very Homely Experience in Kyoto"

Great location, close to all forms of transportation. Ideal for those who want an authentic style of Japanese accommodation.

A lot of rules and warnings posted around the house, but easy to follow. Please note - washing machine costs 300 Yen per cycle - dryer free

"Good place for a family"

It was a great location. Very close to Kyoto train station and aeon mall. Nice to experience a traditional Japanese home.

Steep staircase to second floor. Television isn’t really a television . It is a projection screen at a wall.

"Convenient location"

Homey cosy place not too far from station. Rooms were comfortable and traditional rooms.

Too many items in the house. Nice to see but meant place was dusty and somewhat cramped around the living and dining areas
