"Traditional tatami mat house with great access to the railways."

Great location a short walk from the kyoto station. Comfortable living room to relax in after a long day of sight seeing. Large bath to soak and rejuvenate those tired muscles for the next day.

Super location and a very helpful host, and a wonderful place to stay with everything a traveller could need. Number one place to stay in Kyoto as far as we are concerned! Very close to the train station, lots of restaurants and shopping within easy walking distance (I recommend Nishiyama at the end of the street, very friendly and lovely okonomiyaki).

I can't fault it, other than I wished we could spend more time there!

The location was very convenient. Just a few minutes walk to Kyoto station and 7-11. The place was clean and perfect for our group of 4. There’s also a very traditional tatami sitting area that makes a big plus to the place.

"Central home with a friendly host"

Friendly host. Great location in a quiet street near the station. Plenty of space for our family of five.

Too many signs with rules and consequences for non-compliance - I don't need to be constantly reminded how to behave.
