"A great location for our family getaway"

Our host James was very helpful and friendly and explained everything and gave us tips on where to go. The home was very clean and cosy. The large projector was great for winding down after a long day of sightseeing.

We didn't like climbing the stairs. Everything else was fine. We thought we would have 3 bedrooms

This was a great 3 bedroom property for our family to be together . Loved the style, plants and especially Japanese room for gathering at night.

The front door lock caused us a lot of grief constantly. Sometimes it would take 10 -15 mins to be able to get in . Host was super lovely and helpful on arrival . We found it a little weird to know he had dropped by and come inside one day when we weren't there but he did explain his reasoning.

a warm house

is just the staircase not suitable for senior family to go for bed room. Washing machine is Coin machine, 200yen for 1 wash.

Great location, close to Kyoto station and various bus routes. There's also a large shopping complex nearby. It was nice to have the three separate bedrooms for privacy and having a large dining table (and kitchen), where we could all congregate at the end of the day, was fantastic. Our host greeted us on arrival and went through the various remote controls and other features of the accommodation. There was also a lot of information about places to visit and Japan available. Bonus was that there is a washing machine & dryer available for use.

The stairs are a bit narrow and steep if you're not used to this.

"Wonderful place to use for a Kyoto visit!"

Spacious for our family of five. Convenient to Kyoto station, shopping and restaurants. Heaters work great and we needed the washer/dryer. Quiet neighborhood.

Cold toilet room downstairs and futons are extra firm.
