"Loved!! Would stay again!"

We loved this property! I would stay again. We loved the traditional atmosphere and traditional features of the house design and furniture. Location was perfect.

The bedding needs a refresher. No issues sleeping on the floor, but the mattresses have sunk in the middle, but padded on the outside. Otherwise the rest of the bedding was perfect.

"Our stay was brief but very enjoyable."

We had the house to ourselves. It was well equipped and a quiet place to stay. The location was wonderful for our purposes which was to see the village and the nearby temples.

The house was set back from the street but easy to find. Being set back it was very quiet. There was so much room we had a bedroom, dining room, full kitchen and then a laundry and bathroom. Would say this was the best place you could stay in Nikko without a doubt.

"Fantastically located beautiful traditional-style japanese house. Very convenient and clean"

Really liked the location- close to Toshogu shrine and many of the other key landmarks of Nikko, as well as the train stations for easy access. Very clean, traditional style (tatami) room in a beautiful house.

Aircon in the kitchen area was a bit weak meaning it got a little chilly, and wifi + details appear to have changed
