The place is at the best location with an amazing view of Matera. I had an excellent stay at Franco’s place! He went above and beyond to ensure everything went smoothly during my visit. He left lots of treats for free to make the stay feel like home. One of the highlights was his thoughtful gesture of offering a lift to the bus stop, making my travels hassle-free. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a warm and accommodating experience. Thank you for your outstanding hospitality!

This is a wonderful and unique property. A very generous host provides everything you need and beyond. A huge selection of drinks and snacks. He very kindly took us and our luggage to where our car was parked. The location is wonderful.

The location of the property was great, in a quiet area but close to the centre. Franco was a fantastic host - we appreciated that he met us at the bus station, took us back at the end of our stay, and made sure we boarded the right bus to Lecce. He encouraged us to take a guided tour of the Sassi (a highlight of our stay) and gave us good restaurant recommendations.

Franco is a real gentelman. He is nice and available for his clients. The place is super clean, big Space, includes a lot of snacks and drinks. It is well situated in the heart of Sassi. You can benefit from the view day and night. It is a place to recommand without hesitation.

Prime location, friendly service and best view of the city right outside the door. Was able to witness sunrise and sunset hassle free. Host was very friendly and offered insights for good activities and viewpoints that shouldn’t be missed. The stay was highlight of my Puglia trip

Staying at this incredible place at the beginning of Sassi di Matera was an experience like no other. The views right outside the door were simply breathtaking, offering a picturesque scene of one of the oldest cities in the world. The highlight of our stay was undoubtedly Franco, our host, whose hospitality exceeded all expectations. Franco picked us up from the bus station on our first day, greeted us with a bottle of Prosecco, and even took us on an tour of some of Matera's famous caves. Despite the language barrier, communication was a breeze thanks to translator apps. This has been one of the best places we've ever stayed at, largely due to the unique charm of Sassi di Matera and, above all, because of Franco's exceptional hospitality. If you're looking for a memorable and authentic experience in Matera, this is the place to be. Highly recommended!

Amazing location.

Host was extremely helpful and very welcoming. He took us on a little tour of Matera so we knew where to go. The accommodation was immaculate and clean. Very well equipped and very nicely renovated.

Absolutely nothing

Location was perfect, right in the center of Matera historic town and with great views just at the doorstep. Well appointed spacious house with all the amenities that exceeded expectations. Very clean and systematically planned home away from home, wished could have stayed a few more days. As the house was located inside a driving restricted zone, the host was most kind to find us a parking lot for our rental car just outside the zone within walking distance to the house, and thereafter drove us for the check-in. Super impressive.
