Quirky Kendal Cottage

Good location for the centre of Kendall and the rest of the Lakes. The Cottage is aptly named and is very cosy and comfortable. The hosts were very responsive to questions.

I think the kitchen could do with a couple of larger cooking vessels. Unloading the car was tricky given there is nowhere park.

Very cosy cottage. Well laid out and had enough kitchen things to do decent cooking. Bed was very comfortable. Shower was decent. A great location central to town and reasonably quiet given it's location. Free parking nearby so no issue with that. Super dog friendly - crate, bowls etc all provided.

Not super clean in a couple of places. Sofa/living room not as cosy as it could be. And would be small if 4 guests staying.

We liked the layout of the cottage. It was lovely and quaint, plenty of lovely places to eat in Kendal, lovely little outside space for the dogs, quite spacious considering the size of the cottage, lovely and clean beds and towels provided

It was kept clean and when we arrived the cleaning service did not leave toilet paper so we called the owner and he was very prompt about having supplies sent . The bathroom was nice and big as was the tub for relaxing at the end of the day.

There was a musty smell when one entered each time. The stairway was narrow and rails not complete. It was a very winding stairway up three floors. The building was behind others on the main street so there was no view. Parking was not close. We parked in the rail station lot hoping it would not get a ticket. I did not like using a press to make my coffee.
