Lovely location, rural enough to enjoy the beautiful views but still close to places you wish to visit. Good sized bedrooms, light, spacious and airy. My family and I enjoyed the walks literally a stones throw from the cottage that were recommended and got to enjoy some beautiful sunrises and sunsets. The cottage had its own driveway and lovely cottage garden.

"Beautiful rural cottage"

The house was cosy and the beds were so comfortable!!! View was stunning too.

There were 6 if us staying but only 4 chairs around the table and also only 4 garden chairs. There is only enough space for 2 cars and the drive was very tight. Its on a fast country road so felt quite vulnerable reversing off it.

A really good base to explore the Lake District with lots of facilities near by.

The location is on a busy country road which was difficult to drive in and out of the driveway confidently. There was a smell of dogs, I didn’t think dogs were allowed on this property.

"A little piece of heaven"
