Cosy country cottage with log fireplace and views

The house is in a beautiful location.It was a beautiful, clean, cosy and amazing house.The house had all the fascilities needed for a stay. We really enjoyed our stay here. I would highly recommend.

What a beautiful stay we had. Rural location, looking out onto amazing views. We lit the fire outside and had drinks sitting on the furniture provided. Heaven! Gorgeous cottage, cant wait to come back & kids loved it too! Would 100% recommend if you're looking for a peaceful countryside retreat with fun filled days out just a drive/taxi away. Thank you!

Location was perfect Views amazing Cottage itself big and spacious Modern and well decorated There is literally everything you could think of - toiletries, cleaning products, tea / coffee etc nothing is missed. So warm and comfy and the perfect base. Second time here in 6 months and will definitely be back.

Due to the cottage's traditional hot water system, hot water availability may be limited, requiring guests to stagger their shower times.

The cottage was very comfortable and cosy. We loved the utility room where you could leave coats and boots- lovely and warm after a long walk. Lovely welcome pack when we arrived.

Leaving the parking space onto the road was quite scary. It would have been good to have had one fires worth of wood for the log burner on the first night.

Welcoming touches, very comfortable, homely feel...well cared for by the hosts. Very clean and all the furniture and provisions were high quality. Would return without hesitation! :-)

If sleeping at the front of the house, with the window open (as I did and do)...the road and railway line were audible ...but that can't be helped, and many people are used to such noise anyway.

Everything it was home from home had everything you needed, loved the welcome pack much appreciated :)

Only downfall it took two days to warm the living room and kitchen, upstairs was fine, and we and two young children so we really couldn’t use the log fire perhaps if there were a fire guard we may have, even though the heating was on for our arrival maybe a day earlier could have helped. But all in all it’s a beautiful cottage and lovely views and we would return again probably in the summer:)
