Absolutely beautiful! Vittorio was so easy and was onto everything. I travelled alone as a female and have never felt safer. View is incredible! By far the best there. Taxi is right out the front. Easy to navigate as you literally just have to head down from the Sassi. It has everything you need and more!

Hostess was amazing how helpful they were. Location was next level amazing!!!! What a location, view and town. Being there on the 2nd July had the best firewroks show we have ever seen!!!!

The location and accommodations are beautiful! The wrap around balcony was a favorite for appetizers and wine! The view cannot be beat. Vittorio was a gracious host and was very responsive for any recommendations, questions and advice. Matera is magical and this property is as well!

I Tre Portali is right at one of the main squares, so conveniently located, especially with luggage. Vittorio, the owner, is incredibly helpful and the accommodation is so spacious and tastefully done, combining modern design with ancient walls - so much atmosphere in keeping with the town of Matera. We loved our stay and will definitely return!

"Perfect, luxury location"

We were met by the owner, who was quite flexible as parking took us a bit longer than we anticipated. What a beautiful suite with an amazing view. And we've never had our own hammam (steam room) before. The long balcony overlooking the square and beyond to the canyon- just spectacular. The owner made sure we had local recommendations and answered all our questions. The nearby Sculpture museum, Musma, is a must. We felt really lucky to be staying where we were in that amazing city.
