Dove House Cottages - No 1

The cottage is beautiful and in a lovely setting, there were great touches like the biscuits, porridge etc and the bottle of prosecco went down well as we were there for a birthday celebration for my partner. The place was clean and looked gorgeous as you walked through the door! There were two lovely pubs a short distance away (we appreciate the recommendation board too!) and it was so easy to get into Oxford if you wanted too! The hosts were really communicative and understanding x

Only thing I’d want to change is to be able to have a coffee in the back garden- but there was a small seating area out the front that could be used so that made up for it !

It was a lovely cute cottage and was perfect for our 1 x night stay

It would have been nicer to have had some privacy from the adjacent cottage, who had a dog, so we felt a little awkward sitting outside last night when it was such a lovely evening, as they were out also with their dog. Would have liked to have had our breakfast outside this morning too, when it was such a lovely sunny morning, but felt a little awkward to do so.

Very clean and comfortable. Bottle of Prosecco was a lovely touch. Beautiful surroundings, very relaxing stay.

Couple of bowls were badly chipped and probably need replacing. Could have done with another wine glass too!

A lovely relaxing time.

Maybe a curtain in the bedroom where the glass bathroom door is. The room became very light disturbing sleep. In hindsight we should have drapped towels over.

Smart, cosy, perfect for two.

Traffic noise upstairs with windows open, essential in the warm weather. Back seating area not smart enough for price of accommodation.
