Dove House Cottages - No 1

Large on site house had a party - Music was very very loud, people outside talking until late with little consideration for others.

Very homely, peaceful location, kitchen and bathroom were great. Cottage was very cosy and warm. And we love the fact that it was dog friendly and there was a dog friendly pub nearby.

Nothing.

Nice village location, spotlessly clean, functional space and facilities. Cute touches like little Christmas tree, bottle of fizz and the convenience of a small bottle of milk. Clear and concise information on booking. Did the job.

Temperature remotely controlled; doesn’t offer much flexibility… shared back yard (not secure for pets), bed uncomfortable. A few minor hazards to be wary of - low ceiling height on stairs, bed / roof height and bed positioning.

Cuteness, had everything needed for a perfect weekend getaway and super easy to find!

We booked for three people, but it was only set up for 2 and had to ask were the bedding and towels were for third person, the response was blunt and unclear, would have liked a bit more considering the host was aware there would be 3 of us coz the booking was for 3 people

Lovely cottage with great views bathroom was lovely

The bed wasn’t comfortable and we kept banging legs on the post at the end, no dressing table to get ready, the church bells going every hour through the night were a nightmare and kept us awake which spoilt the stay

The small touches were lovely - bottle of Prosecco etc. thank you!

The shower was slightly cold. Although Louise did send someone round to fix it immediately, it didn’t heat up as much as the taps in the sinks.
