Mowbray Stable Cottages

Just had 3 nights in the 2 bedroom cottage with mum and sisters.The cottage is very well equipped and cosy in a fantastic location.Lucie and Paul are fantastic hosts,lovely people.Walking into Thirsk takes around 20 minutes.We were very fortunate to have nice,sunny,warm weather and we were able to sit outside on the patio area well into the evening.We would definitely go back.

There was nothing to dislike.

Lovely location our one bedroom cottage was a great layout , well equipped and very clean, fantastic hot shower ! Bed comfy with plenty of extra blankets should you need them, nice seating area outside with a pleasant view to go with your morning coffee.

Clean, beautifully decorated, comfortable beds and a lovely bathroom. Local to Thirsk Centre only a 15 min walk. beautiful country side atmosphere and hosts super friendly and informative.

No Lock on the bathroom door and we were sharing with friends so we used the wire chicken to pop in front of the door haha Ants all over the kitchen work top on the second day so may need to be sorted but couldn't be helped

Staff were very friendly the cottage was clean and well equipped all in all a really nice place to stay we will definitely come back.

Beautiful little cottage. Fully equipped and to a really high standard. Exactly what we were looking for, for a few days away over New Year.

Hosts very responsive via text message met us at the property to ensure we didnt drive past the entrance as it was winter and the main road is unlit. We were welcomed into the property and given a quick tour and told to contact if we had any issues -this was great as we were ready to just relax. Property was very modern, clean and warm as well as well equipped for our stay. In a lovely quiet location but not far from the local town on foot and nearby attractions in the car . Hosts very friendly and seemed interested in what we were wanting to do in the area even sending us an email prior to arrival with local attractions

A little more guidance on rubbish and recycling may have helped in the overview on booking.com but was easy enough to figure out where recycling was and im sure if we had text then paul and lucie would have told us straight away
