Host & Stay - Rock Cottage

Great location, I had no problem parking outside property (but didn’t move car again during stay). Perfect size for 2 people & a small dog. I was able to connect to my own Netflix which was good, as we were home in the evening.

No complaints.

The location was great, and the place was spotless.

I did not like the fact there were no washing facilities like washing up liquid, or a bit of shower gel, basic things like simple condiments, salt, vinegar.

The property was booked for the comfort of the sofas as shown in the photos, unfortunately they had been replaced with 2 very small uncomfortable 2 seaters. The dining area had also been changed from the photos, from normal height chairs to 2 breakfast bars shoved together with high bar stools, this was terrible to sit on for longer than a few minutes. The properties should have up to date photos, as you expect to have what’s been advertised. It a real shame as the cottage was lovely, but the comfort of sofa/dining was terrible.

The location is great and the view across the harbour is beautiful, it was nice and quiet too. Good value for money to say how centrally located it is! The shower and bath is lovely too and you have all the amenities needed for a short stay.

It could have been cleaner, but that would be my only criticism. There was some pans in the cupboard that hadn’t been cleaned properly by previous occupants, and I noticed it was quite dusty under the bed when I was picking up my son’s toys.

Good location, clean.

Couldn't find using the instructions, dark outside the property. No heating or hot water despite reporting several times it eventually became hot around 11.30 in the evening on the 2nd night of our 2 night stay.

There was scaffolding all round the door making it awkward to see, no exterior light or hidden behind scaffolding

Upon arrival found the cooker hood broke, bed room door hanging off its hinges, carbon monoxide in a cupboard with battery's removed

Conveniently placed near shops and eateries

Nothing of note
