A nice and very clean homestay in Sorong. We were on our way to Waisai and stayed there for one night. The owners are very friendly, the service was fantastic and they tried to fulfil all our wishes. We liked it so much that we stayed there again on our way back from Waisai to Sorong. Our flight left very early and we even got a hot breakfast to take away at 5:30 am. We would definitely come back. Thank you very much for the pleasant stay!

Delicious breakfast and dinner; friendly owner and family; spacious apartment for one person; hostess did laundry for me! Owner provided restaurant info and communicated with my diving operator for me.

Location is hard to find

It’s clean and comfortable, looks even better than in the pictures. We stayed 1 night before flying back to Jakarta. I definitely recommend this place. Spacious and good value.

Clean and comfortable

If you are at all considering booking a hotel in Sorong - stop immediately. Baronda Guest House is most singly the best accommodation you will find in the town. For many reasons. It is very affordable. It is beautiful. The host is absolutely amazing. The breakfast is fab. The area is so local and beautiful and clean. It is close to the airport. There is a shopping centre just a short Grab away. But the absolute highlight was going to the jungle with Fajri for birdwatching. It was both a humbling and incredible experience. Staying in the local village, walking with the local guides (who knows every part of the jungle) and seeing amazing creatures. Fajri made such a special effort with my meal (and difficult dietary requirements). We hope we have made friends forever. Thank you Fajri and team for creating the most amazing memories and one of our trip highlights.

Did not hear any dogs! Lol. The mosque is def loud but we were so happy that we barely noticed it!

Very good host. He responds very quickly and is very helpfull prior and during stay. He arranged a pick-up (from the port/to the airport) and visiting Taman Wisata Alam Sorong for us (I recommend to go there, it is good place for morning birdwatching or just visiting a rescue center for wild animals (mainly parrots)). We had breakfast and dinner in Baronda guest house (it was very good) and we had also a lot of fruit there (I asked to have it and was not problem for him). Our room was clean and spacious.
