Space and location

I would not recommend staying here. Although the specific circumstances are fairly unique it was badly handled by the owner. This is a mid terrace house and a very old quaint fisherman’s cottage. The adjoining property is doing significant renovations back to brick and re-plaster boarding. We were treated to drilling, hammering and sawing with loud music and swearing from 8am each morning and last all day during our long weekend stay. I sent videos to the owner who simply believes it’s not their problem. The property and furniture is dated, kitchen knives had the blade separate from the handle during use. I also wouldn’t recommend staying in winter, it’s single glazed old windows with very thin almost pointless curtains in the bedrooms. The house was clean, just does not feel invested in. Unsurprisingly given the really poor communication of the owner who doesn’t live in the area and does not care about issues people may have. It could be a lovely charming place, I’m not one to leave a bad review but would never stay here again.

No information about How/When the rubbish bin should be emptied The parking permit was not left as agreed. I Phoned the 2 telephone Numbers I had. One was no longer in use and the other took 24 hours to Phone back
