The Willows

Large, spacious living areas; bedrooms in separate wings; gorgeous fully appointed kitchen, with glorious views of the lake, and beautiful gardens. Host Kerry was a great source of local tips!

Steep driveway was a challenge! Lack of air-conditioning ( somewhat compensated for by high ceilings and ceiling fan)

Our first stay at the The Willows. The property is secluded, quiet with picturesque views and very clean. It is away from the noise but close enough to parks, stores etc. We had plenty of room, the house had everything you could need. Easy access to the lake, the kayaks and the spa topped off an amazing weekend. Most of all our host, Kerry, met us personally and showed us around and had plenty of local knowledge to share. If you're considering booking, do it, you won't be disappointed.

I'd have to nit-pik what we didn't like. We should have stayed longer perhaps!

Great location. Well equiped, lots of kitchen equipment, cutlery, basic larder ingredients etc. The house is a bit old but everything works and has been well looked after and maintained. Beds are comfy and well appointed.

As other reviews say, the driveway is fun but it's not a negative and wouldn't make any difference to my decision to stay here! Would be great if there was a bit more lighting around the patio and BBQ.

We loved the Willows, quiet secluded location right on the lake. Peaceful, very well appointed, plenty of everything we needed and much more. Great host.

Nothing

Well positioned close to Rotorua, but in a quiet area. The house has lots of space to spread out so we never felt cramped. The kayaks were a great bonus, with the young children enjoying them (paddling with adults). It’s great that the water is very shallow close to shore, making it safe and warm. The hot tub was well used, with late evening soaks a real highlight as the view from the tub is stunning. I should also add that Kerry was always available if we needed anything or had any questions. We loved it!

The gardens are so beautiful. The view is gorgeous especially the spa. Great location. Very comfortable beds. Access to additional linen and bedding is great. Beautiful kitchen everything you need. New carpets. Great DVD collection.

House needs alot of maintenance. Spongy floors, rotten decking, leaks and no fans in Summer.
