Comfortable beds Well equipped kitchen

The house number was incorrect, 8 NOT 8a We were not informed that another property was only accessible through our courtyard There was NO Wifi, despite information that told us otherwise The enamel bath was very damaged, which was not pleasant for my 2 year old granddaughter Information in the property was scarce and differed from booking.com app We could not locate the back door key until day 2 of our break I contacted booking .com re some of the above concerns and am still awaiting a reply

TV in one of the bedrooms didn't work

Great location. Lovely, clean property next to Beadnell Towers Hotel, local pub and other restaurants and close to Seahouses and Bamburgh for many other facilities. Beaches also close by and great for dog walking. Can't fault great value Rose Cottage in any way.

Absolutely nothing

The hotel next door served tasty, well presented food (we ate there Christmas Eve). Cocktail hour was between 3-4pm which we enjoyed. The staff were friendly and accommodating. The village offered other eating venues. We didn’t try all of them. Location good to visit other areas close by.

The cottage was next door to the hotel and at night people would smoke and talk near the bedroom window until the early hours which woke us up. I assume in the summer this could be even more of a problem.

Some bits abit tired e.g. outer door kept coming off dishwasher - a minor point but….Also dealing with the owners felt a tad impersonal? Asked if we could stay an extra night, told we could as was empty at weekend but asked to pay full price when maybe thought a discount might have been offered?!

Gorgeous place. Beds so comfortable, facilities fab. Great location. Stayed in Beadnell a number of times but this is our favourite.

A slight problem with bins/ waste disposal but informed the owners.
