Windsor Retreat in shadow of the Castle.

Location was perfect.

Our bed wasn't overly comfortable.The spiral staircase for people our age was a little bit daunting.

Super property, great location. We loved the little outdoor space on first floor. Beautifully decorated terraced house. Communication with host was brilliant and was very helpful before our stay ❤️. Brilliant to have the option for parking for an additional cost 👍. Would definitely recommend 😃 and will be booking again 🥰. Loved every minute xx

Lovely location. Very close to the town and castle.

Noisy neighbours in the late evening/early hours of the morning. 3 of the 4 hobs didn't work. Spiral staircase is beautiful, but not ideal for anyone with mobility issues or young children, but were fine for us. Does need a clean, there are dust in areas, especially in the kitchen on the window seal. That aside, I would absolutely stay again.

Excellent central location. Has everything you need from dishwasher tablets/shampoo/tea coffee, cooking utensils etc & lots of thoughtful and comfortable touches. TVs, sky, Netflix, wifi is perfect. Clean unique property although spiral staircase may not be suitable for very young or elderly.

Little noisy outside early in morning or late at night. Few things/clutter in corners e.g under the window in loft room that appeared to be old sheets/pillows& Christmas decorations. All of the numerous battery operated candles had no battery left

The property is in a great location and has a lovely terrace on the first floor to enjoy breakfast in the sun(which we did a couple of the days). It is a well furnished house. Nice wee welcome basket with bottled water, biscuits and some herbal teas.

The location of the house meant there was a lot of street noise at night when trying to sleep but not the fault of the property. The staircase is awful, very uncomfortable on the feet especially when not wearing shoes inside the property. I was a little disappointed to find only ONE dishwasher tablet available and ONE tablet for the washing machine. The property had not been thoroughly cleaned unfortunately. My son found a pair of men’s shorts in his bedroom which were underneath the chair in the loft room. No parking on the street outside. It would be good if the owner could provide a parking permit like some of the other holiday houses on the street.

The house is great. It could do with a deep clean as there are dusty corners and soap/shower gel on the shower walls but nothing major. The beds were clean and comfortable. The kitchen was also clean & had everything we needed.

The location was excellent for everything, shopping, restaurants, train station and the river all on the doorstep

Too much furniture in the living room made it feel cluttered (we were a family of 4) The house really needs a good clean as there were cobwebs in most rooms (ceilings & walls) The couches are needing updated (uncomfortable)

Location, Location, Location!

Too quirky for us, spiral staircase challenging if you were in the room without a toilet and needed to navigate in the night. Need to have instructions about the hot water as we had to reset. Kitchen lights are hung too low by the kettle. Not sure if it was because it was bank holiday weekend but the noise was super loud for the two nights we stayed from the back of the house, under the arches. Needs a clean where the lamp is switched on in the living room.

Location..close to castle and shopping, The Thames, Eton etc. don’t be put off from the look of the street and location behind and beneath the railway. It is safe and handy as said.Nice kitchen with appliances and washer/dryer. Furnishing very good quality and tasteful. Lots of thought and feeling put into it. Three bathrooms but only one with a shower. Fun balcony.

It is quite a quaint flat. Drawback being that all bedrooms are upstairs with access via spiral, metal staircase. Great for young folks who want something cool but definetly not for seniors or persons with mobility issues. Only one shower , and that on ground floor .
