The host and location were amazing. The bed was really comfortable. Quirky with homely feel.

Focus seems to be on quirky not cleanliness or practicalities. No hot running water in either sink, kettle had to be boiled for washing up. No hanging space or drawer space for clothes, had to live out of suitcase on the floor. 'Well equipped kitchenette' turned out to be a kettle, toaster and microwave with no real way of cooking when we turned up with food to last all weekend. As lovely as the log burner was it was the only form of heating other than oil filled radiators which were very expensive to use, electric is payable by guests in a pound coin meter which we didn't know till after booking. This property would be better suited to summer bookings when all facilities could be used and BBQ provided could be used for hot cooking.

No running hot water had to boil kettle , no where to put your cloths ,no cooker only microwave and toaster , cold oil heaters to heat place which you had to put money in electric meter to keep them on as soon as you turned them off place cooled down quick there was a log fire u could use if u brought your own logs , bit to basic for use

It's a beautiful location, and the owner couldn't have been more helpful. The bed was ridiculously comfortable, and watching the sunset from the terrace was sublime.

The location was beautiful, peace and quiet. Also close to some lovely places to visit, plenty of restaurant and cafes around..

The property was very well decorated and the bed was very comfy, the pool was lots of fun. The host John was lovely and very welcoming.
