The kitchen was well equipped and there was plenty of space.

The cottage picture didn't do the cottage justice, as it looked very nice in the pictures. Unfortunately peeling paint in the bathroom and leaking shower heads and taps gave for an unkept/un-maintained look. The cottage also had a musty smell to it.

Price. Set in remote quiet place. (Which I liked) It was fine for two contractors one night stop over. Kitchen facilities are sound.

Needs a make over & redecorating. Good clean through to remove spiders and cobwebs would be good idea.(I happen to like spider lucky enough) Musty smell.

There was a strange smell especially upstairs ? Vomit or something dead somewhere. Found the atmosphere creepy, couldn't relax or wait to leave in the morning - needs some tlc all round won't be back

Bery nice and clean lovely

It was a sweet old cottage but only the structure of the building was positive. There is a new kitchen area which was ok. The grounds were nice and some peacocks roaming around.

There was an off smell in the property. The shower was more like a sprinkler. The shower curtain was dirty and orange coloured at the bottom. There were some stains on the bedding but I couldn’t make out what it was. It had been cleaned but potentially blood or maybe make up on the double duvet in a couple of places. Everything felt old and nothing matched. The property has so much potential that could keep in style with the history but it just didn’t work. I personally didn’t feel comfortable here and felt relieved I had only booked for one night. There was lots of rubbish at the back of the hotel which was where the cottages are too.

Peace and quiet , the lakes for fishing . The peacocks were just great and the ponies too . The cottages are self sufficient with kitchen ect . Plus the parking for each cottage is a very nice idea . Hope I get a chance to return . Close to looe and amenities to stock up on essentials .

Small leak in the bathroom , maybe the shower . The curtains need replacing as they don't close easily , but small niggles place is ace .

Quiet location, the resident peacocks and pea hens - very entertaining, comfortable and well equipped.

No complaints.
