"Cosy Cottage"

The Cottage was lovely, clean,and comfortable. It had everything you would need for you're stay,We went to Scarborough for the day,it's around a 30min drive,and York is 40min so it's pretty central to go out for the day.

The weather,it was a pity we were unable to sit in the little garden that is so private and not over looked.

Lovely cosy cottage beds,sofas,good linen,spotlessly clean.Gem of a garden.5 mins walk to centre of Pickering 2mins walk to supermarket, car park and Indian restaurant

Excellent location, property has loads of character. The garden is surprisingly large compared to the pictures, has lots of sun and lots of shade. Perfect for bringing our 9 year old daughter and 7 month old american bulldog. Excellent communication from the host.

You have to look out for the catch on the baby gate at the bottom of the stairs as it's a tight corner, other than that can't think of a negative.

Central location Very clean Good shower Comfy bed Spacious. Lovely garden. Prompt responses to any questions

Although there were ‘mind your head’ signs at the kitchen/dining room door my partner bumped his head on arrival causing an injury needing a dressing. Would recommend some foam etc to prevent this happening to others. Also recommend the first aid kit is placed in a prominent position. Hadn’t realised we needed to strip beds before departure. Parking was advertised as ‘outside cottage’ however it was actually on road across from the cottage. A parking permit is available for a nearby car park.
