Lavender Cottage, Grade 2 Listed Period Stone Built Cottage In Pickering, North Yorkshire

As it was on a very busy road, you need to not be a light sleeper.

Would have preferred a bathroom on the same floor as the bedrooms.

every thing about this cottage is just perfect in every way pssible i will deffinaitly return with my wife she will love this cottage and pickering is a beautiful village

The enclosed garden was ideal for the dogs

It was cold and we were specifically told not to touch the heating. The gas fire was fine but this was only in the sitting room.

The cottage is in an excellent position on the main road out of Pickering. It is close to all amenities including shops, pubs, bus stop and things to see. The cottage had all the things you will need for your stay. The garden is excellent and is lovely to sit in. Parking is available across the road and we had no problems parking.

Grill pan not cleaned from previous guests on our arrival. Front door lock very difficult and stiff to open and close. Could result in being broken or guests not being able to get in on arrival.

Perfect location for travelling around the area
