Orchard Cottage

Bedroom looked like we were walking into a charity shop not the least bit inviting and the bed was so uncomfortable. The garden was not fully enclosed so our dog could only go out on lead. Garden furniture uncomfortable. We booked for 4 nights left after two.

Good location for visiting the area at good and reasonable price. Safe and clean area

Cottage was spotless. Very comfortable and relaxing but close enough to Canterbury and road network.

Beautiful location and short drive to Canterbury.

Bed quite small., and basic furniture/fixtures., patio furniture seen better days. Ice/freezer compartment would be added bonus.

The location, facilities and cleanliness were excellent. TV worked well and the wi-fi signal was strong.

A very minor point, but the pillows could have been a little bulkier.

Lovely location and the property was very well equipped. Hosts on hand if needed. Parking on site.

We chose to stay at Little Orchard with our dog as it offers a courtyard and garden, and is dog friendly. What isn't clear is this area is shared with the cottage next door and unfortunately one of the other guests was not happy with our dog using the courtyard or garden when they were sitting in the shared area. Also they left the gate to the rest of the grounds open, so our dog got out. This meant our dog had to be on the lead in the courtyard, which was not the plan.

Location super, rooms are very spacious and comfortable . Parking is easy. Good place to walk dog. Handy for visiting Canterbury. Will be back

Bathroom floor slippy after showers although there is a grab rail. A non slip mat might help. The cord safety protector on the iron was broken off and some of the catches on the clothes dryer were also broken. Though there was some coffee and tea bags there was no milk. Might have been nice to have a welcome tray to make a cuppa after a long journey.

Sarah is an excellent host,everything was perfect. After losing my father in June, we needed a break to recover,Orchard Cottage was the perfect place to relax,reflect, and come to terms with my loss. Peaceful surroundings, just a great place to be. We would definitely like to return for a longer stay,if not this summer, then definitely next summer. Thank you Sarah for a wonderful few days,you are an absolute star. Hopefully we will see you again soon.

Loved the surroundings, so peaceful. Very modern inside with everything you need for your stay and beds super comfortable.

Being totally picky as didn’t change the lovely time we had. Would of liked better coat hangers in top bedroom as my dresses kept falling on the floor, it would be nice to have a chair and a mirror in the main room to assist getting ready, shower toiletries holder too.

A pleasant, well-equipped country cottage a short drive from Canterbury. The cottage was roomy and comfortable, had a good outdoor area and a garden.
