"Lovely location but some noise issues"

The cottage is on a very peaceful location with great walks on the doorstep through orchards and hop fields. Very convenient to explore Canterbury and the Kent coast.

The adjoining cottage has a bedroom in the roofspace and appears to run above Little Orchard cottage. There was quite a lot of noise from running feet across the ceiling despite the description of the property advising of soundproofing. We could also hear quite a lot of noise through the dividing wall downstairs.

"Sweet little chalet, perfect for a couple."

The location was absolutely wonderful, just the right amount of secluded (with a gorgeous garden with wonderful trees, flowers and bird houses for bird song throughout the day) and positioned close to Canterbury and Faversham, all amenities were within 15minute drives.

"Wonderful private little cottage in a beautiful location."

Orchard cottage is located in the beautiful countryside, 10 minutes drive to Canterbury. The cottage is fully equipped for a home from home break. Full oven and stove top, fridge, microwave, dishwasher, utensils, pots etc. It also has 2 bathrooms (one for each bedroom) as well as heating. The cottage is lovely and private and very comfortable.

"Lovely, peaceful break in lovely surroundings."

Simple thing, but having a towel ring next to the wash hand basin is so good (& rare) to find All equipment we could need was there

Instruction on the heating would have been useful, we overheated it at first. A long handled squeegee mop would be useful in the wet room, bending not so good

"Peaceful little retreat."

Idyllic, peaceful location- the host was very friendly and welcoming. The cottage was warm, cozy and had everything you could need for your stay - so nice to have a full kitchen to be able to cook properly. My dog Daisy loved exploring the garden and there are lots of lovely places for walkies! Would definitely come back - 100% recommend!

I wish I could’ve stayed longer!
