The bed was kinda broken, not very comfortable

Close to the town, safe on site free parking.

TV took a bit of sorting to get working but not really a problem, the WiFi code on the wall was wrong but was OK in the book. There was no curtains or blinds at the windows in the 3rd floor bedroom was the worse thing.

Cute little warm cottage . Kitchen lovely. Area excellent

Attic bedroom needs work. Window blind broken. No curtain to velux. Heat switch to shower broken. Bed headboard and footboard broken. Bed springs uncomfortable. The lounge had an old leak stain as did the small bedroom.

Always like it there, the location is brilliant in the centre of town , we visit family who live not far from town

Where to start! This is the first poor review I have ever given,so frustrating as if the owners would just spend some money on it it could be a 10. So, the television was broken, we brought the small one down from the bedroom, that did work so put the fire stick in to it and found that didn't work either so had no smart tv features. Tried to phone owner, no answer, sent her a text, no reply. The lounge is very small with 3 quite large settees in it that take up most of the room and a large damp patch on the ceiling (picture included). The bed mattress were all very old and uncomfortable. The springs had gone and they were extremely soft as there was no support in them. The double in the attic was actually 2 of these old mattresses put together, again, very uncomfortable. The wardrobe in the downstairs double had an old pillow in the bottom of it that absolutely reeked, took it out and double bagged it but the smell had penitrated the inside of the wardrobe and rended it unusable. The bathroom had obviously quite recently had splash panels stuck to the wall so the acidic/chemical smell of the adhesive that was used was very unpleasant. The towels provided looked very old, stiff with threads hanging off them (pic added) the bedding as also old and thin. So annoying that if the owner would just buy some decent furniture, bedding and towels this could be really nice, as it was it was really disappointing accommodation which we will not be returning to.

The property was very central to accessing the bars, restaurants and shops

There’s some attention required to the shower area in the bathroom and some decoration.

The house was great. Very clean and tidy. We had everything we needed. The facilities were great apart from the beds. The loft room was very spacious and great to have an en suite. The shower in the en suite was great. Whenever I contacted Grace she was very quick to reply and sort out any issues.

The beds are very uncomfortable The mattresses are like sleeping on a bag of bones and desperately need replacing. The springs dig into you, which is really uncomfortable. Looking at the reviews, this has been raised by others, but obviously nothing has changed, which is a shame.

The location was perfect The property itself was essentially well laid out

There were several issues with this property Both Showers in the property leaked & water came through ceiling into lounge & single bedroom when contact with the owner was attempted she would only communicate via text to inform me she was waiting on a reply from maintenance man no further contact was made therefore we could not go out until he came which was late afternoon He informed us that he knew what the problem was but could not repair it at this time & not to use showers The bath could also not be used as the sealant & tiles were cracked Therefore only way to wash was at the small bathroom washbasin There are significant damp patches on the lounge & single bedroom proving that this is not an isolated issue The bedrooms Mattresses & bedding of very poor quality 1 bed could not be slept in as the mattress was so uncomfortable due to the springs fortunately there was a spare bed The bed in the double bedroom was obviously previously broken & this has just been patched up There were no hand towels available in the 2 main shower rooms There is a hole in the lounge wall where someone has pushed the door handle too far
