Luxurious Beach House Chesil Beach. Sleeps 6

Clean, modernly decorated with everything you could need. A beautiful home. Great location and easy access.

Location was superb. Apartment was very comfortable and well equipped with a great outside space to sit in. Bedrooms were comfortable with good storage.

Generally liked everything but two minor comments. 1) Dirty and broken BBQ left in yard. 2) Internal paintwork could do with a freshen up.

Great location close to all amenities. The house was well equipped with everything we needed. The goodie basket on arrival was a lovely touch and we ate it all. Lovely quiet location and all rooms were spotlessly clean. Great contact from hosts prior to arrival for early check in

Lack of hanging space in the twin room. Hooks on the back of bathroom doors would be ideal. The double bedroom on the top floor is missing a pull cord for the window blind. The coffee table in the lounge was quite small for a property hosting 6 people None of this affected our stay but maybe something to consider for future guests. Welcome pack was very basic. Could contain more local information with places to eat and visit etc.

The beach house was so charming and set up with care. The social areas were lovely. I loved the care basket with goodies when we arrived. I liked the self check-in option. The location speaks for itself!

Only small things. No oven gloves or tongs in the kitchen and no toilet paper in the downstairs bathroom. The kitchen stools and chairs were a bit uncomfortable after a while so maybe some cushions would have been nice, we used the ones from the living room.

Not much to do in Portland

Comfortable property with well-equipped kitchen, very clean and recently updated.

The area was not quite what I expected. In February, very few pubs, cafes and restaurants are open, and those that are a very mixed bunch. I would recommend the Royal Portland as very welcoming pub. Also, travelling to the southern tip of Portland is well worth it.
