Great base for a Yorkshire adventure

Das Haus ist liebevoll eingerichtet und es ist alles vorhanden was man benötigt. Der Kontakt zu den Besitzern war super. Direkt gegenüber gab es ein Geschäft, wo man alles für den täglichen Bedarf einkaufen konnte. Wir würden jederzeit wieder dort Übernachten!

The house has everything needed for a short or extended stay. Close to shops, pubs and very quiet area. Dog friendly and a lovely big garden for them to wander about in. The communication with the owners was excellent. Wouldn't hesitate to stay again.

Only minor issue was the bed wasn't the most comfortable so not quite as restful. A mattress topper would sort this minor issue as everything else is 100%

Great property to stay in. The location was ok for us due to us revisiting the area my husband came from so we know the area well. House was great had everything you needed and had a peaceful weekend.

The location was excellent. We found the conservatory a wonderful place for all the family to meet and relax, [my sister was staying at another location}.

It was in quite a good location for where we wanted to go and an easy walk into the town. The TV was the best part for the stay as it had apps installed to be able to stream things that we wanted to watch in the evening to relax. Sitting in the conservatory for meals and relaxing.

The house is in need of some maintenance and could do with a bit of tidying up. Everything we wanted was available but some was slightly tired. The garden could do with a tidy up and we were unsure about using the blinds in the conservatory as the mechanisms seemed seized.

Really good property and ideal location to visit many different places. Property was very clean and well stocked and we really enjoyed our stay there. We wish we could have stayed longer. 😁

The size of the property.The garden was great for the dogs. Virtually everything you need and a lot more. Lovely pub within walking distance and good dog walk. Conservatory massive and really nice, apart from the table feeling sticky, I imagine that the garden would be amazing in the summer.

Too much clutter, needs redecorating. Although surfaces were clean, it had an overall air of being dirty, for example the dresser was dusty, the bathroom not good at all. Previous guests ( I presume ) had left scrubbies, no way would I touch them. Net curtain at the window horrendous, we were able to just lift the pole down and put it in a corner. Holes left by screws, mirror wonky. Bedrooms were okish. Overall, too much ‘stuff’, needs major redecorating and thorough cleaning.

The house was bigger than I’d expected and even had a blackout gaming/tv room. The host was so friendly and helpful and allowed us to check in an hour early. Tea, coffee and milk was supplied. Baby cot was provided including bedding and a sleep sack! There were plenty of games for all ages and the same goes for reading material. There was lots of information about the local areas. Free parking either in private space or on roadside. Grocery store and chippy directly opposite the house.

The garden needs a massive tidy up, but the host acknowledged that without me mentioning it. There is a pond which is covered with netting but that does mean children must be supervised at all times if playing out there.
