The Lodge

De cottage ziet er fantastisch uit. Zoals je ze in de film ziet. Het is binnen heel gezellig en sfeervol ingericht. Je hebt een fijne buitenruimte waar je kunt zitten bij mooi weer. Vanuit je voordeur loop je meteen de paden op voor de prachtigste wandelingen.

Mijn man is vrij lang en aangezien het een oud huisje is moest hij op sommige plekken opletten niet zijn hoofd te stoten maar dat is gelukt.

What a beautiful location! So many wonderful walks right from the door. This little house had everything we required to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. The lounge has a comfy sofa, the kitchen a useful dining area, the bathroom has an excellent shower and a bath tub with a view of the hills. The bedroom has a very comfortable bed and a nice little patio table and chairs is provided. The lodge is full of character and personality. The wine, biscuits and fruit were a lovely welcoming touch.

An amazing place, perched high on the side of the hill above the River Wye and the mill, overlooking Millers Dale and the lower end of Cressbrook village, with stunning views up and down the valley, this is the ideal cosy bolt hole for couples. Well equipped kitchen and bathroom, warm inside with a log burner and CH, with good outside seating area outside and great Panorama, it will suit a visit in all weather's. If you're a walker then the number of trails locally would suit you, or if like me you have mobility issues, and like being sedentary, then The Lodge will suit you to a 'T'. There are numerous pubs locally to cater for you if you didn't want to cook, but if you wanted to eat in, the kitchen has everything you'd need. The double bed was very comfortable, and was lovely and dark a night for a proper sleep.

Absolutely loved every minute of our stay, first time in the peaks for both me & my partner. From The Lodge to the views both was breathtaking and beyond more to what we was expecting. The owners were lovely & very down to earth, they left us alone to enjoy our stay & even left us a bag of wood at the front door, definitely recommend & will definitely be booking again 🥰 Lisa & Lewis
