when we arrived at cottage owner welcome us very friendly. place is nice and clean. when we left we accidentally left our key but owner contacted us and let us know. we're very grateful for that.

Friendly host. House is huge. Clean and tidy. Closed to city and places of visit.

Bath towels could be better. The cooking pans need to be replaced.

The house was cute and cozy. The host was extremely welcoming, friendly, and helpful! Everything was clean and orderly. I loved that there were table games provided as well! Short distance to center of Rotorua!

"Nice rooms, but would have appreciated some flexibility on check in time"

Nice accommodation with clean rooms. The main attractions are about 15-25 minutes drive from the hotel.

We arrived 80 minutes before scheduled check in time, since it was raining quite heavily. Unfortunately the hosts refused to allow us to check in. So we had to wait outside in the rain. I would request some flexibility in terms of checking time. Also the hosts asked for additional charge for checking in early … $60 for 80 minutes seemed overly excessive. Wifi was weak in the evening, but worked well in the morning.

"Quiet and comfortable."

The hosts were very friendly and approachable, the place is quiet and has a few animals to look at, like horses and chickens, kids will love it ! I traveled for business but would easily go back with my kids.

No need to complain, it was great.
