A full house with all the equipment you might need.

Layout of the house is not great. A reasonable distance down into the village but easily walkable via the shortcut across the lawn through the front of the property.

"We loved Smithy’s."

The appliances and furniture were all high quality. The fireplace was effective. Upstairs bed was comfortable. It was also in a good location.

Only the downstairs bed mattress needs replacing. As a suggestion it would have been good to have a few condiments in the cupboard Ann tissues in the bathroom. You could change the picture on booking.com because the house is now a different colour. Also there needs to be a blind in the upstairs bathroom for privacy.

Staff were helpful and generally we had no issues with the house. Fireplace is a nice to have.

The bedding was old and you could tell (pilling on the throws).

"Nice home, but house was hot and disappointing management company experience"

The home was very clean, conveniently located near gorgeous Lake Tekapo. We appreciated having a spacious home, kitchen, laundry facilities, and being in convenient walking distance to town.

We stayed at this home on December 20-22. The house air conditioner did not work for the majority of our stay resulting in temps of 32+ degrees Celsius (over 90 degrees Fahrenheit) downstairs and much, much hotter upstairs where we were sleeping. It made the house very uncomfortable and difficult to enjoy with that level of heat. There was some effort made to resolve the issue, but it was an issue for over half of our stay and only fixed the night before our departure. The management company agreed to a small resolution, but now almost 3 months after this incident we are still waiting. Disappointing stay, but even more disappointing management company.
