CASA DO MAR

Beautiful sunset views and falling asleep to the sound of the ocean in a sleepy and peaceful Madeiran village was perfect for us. Property was clean and lockbox check in was easy and flexible. We were able to park in the village each day but worth being aware that parking is not outside the property if expecting this.

Could do with new cookware, the existing ones are very scratched but otherwise we found the kitchen had what we needed. Could benefit from dehumidifier, we came back wet from rain and due to Madeiras humidity we couldn't dry anything. The dehumidifier setting on air con/heater did not seem to help with this

This place is simply great. You get what you see in the pictures, which is just amazing for a relaxing stay.

This place is totally worth its price. And we'll definitely be back next time we're in western Madeira. What would make the stay better still: it would have been good to have a coffee machine, especially since this is one of the rare places in the country where finding a bica before 10am is not easy. Also, great to have a washing machine. Would help a lot if there would be detergent and a clothing rack.

Just incredible, 180° view of the sea, the kitchen is an absolute dream with all the equipment one could need, it was very comfortable and amazing for the price

The pictures don't do this accomodation justice, it was absolutely perfect. Bed was super comfy, watching the sunset every night was extra special, kitchen is well equipped, perfect for a couple. Great restaurants near by and a short walk away from swimming spots.

Door handle kept on falling off so be careful with that. Also parking is not that easy and wish there were instructions on this before we arrived. There is a free parking lot up the road but it was always full. Wish they provided the basics in the kitchen eg salt, pepper, tea and coffee. There also isn't a super market in the town so wish we got a warning before we arrived.

La vue est incroyable et le lit très confortable ! La Clim est très appréciable. L’intérieur est propre et bien équipée.

Ça n’a malheureusement plus rien à voir avec les photos concernant la terrasse.. la propriétaire demande de tager les murs avec nos mains en partant et « ne pas faire de sex sur la terrasse.. » C’est dommage si j’avais vu la terrasse actuellement je n’aurais jamais loué cet endroit ça gâche tout. De plus le voisin du haut est hyper hostile et intrusif, on a décidé dès la 1 ère journée de ne plus passer par le haut pour ne pas se faire hurler dessus.
