"We love Northumberland & would definitely stay here again."

10.0

Location is brilliant for all the Northumberland landmarks. The village has 2 decent dog friendly pubs & artisan bakery next door.

There isn’t a freezer and the ice maker in the shed outside is fiddly to use & not user friendly when it’s raining.

"A lovely friendly village with good shop, butcher and pubs which did takeaways."

8.0

Plenty of space and comfortable beds. Dishwasher and washing machine were a bonus

Windows were finger marked and cleanliness could have been better. No toilet rolls apart from a few sheets , and not enough dinner plates, only 4. Really missed a freezer for food, ice cream and ice pack for picnics. Carpet loose going down to bathroom.

"Great place!"

9.0

Great location in lovely village with good facilities. Bakery is great, shop is varied and pub decent. Easy access to A9 & lots of places to visit. Cottage itself is a good size with good facilities. Agree that it’s nicer in reality than the pictures show.

Agree with previous comments about what would make it better - more cutlery, cooker good light needs fixing, mattresses a bit comfy, freezer box in fridge, etc.

"Quirky cottage in a lovely village"

9.0

The cottage is better than the photos show. There was a nice welcome basket and plenty of info on the area. Longframlington has a range of amenities, these include two pubs, butcher, artisan baker and corner shop. It is well placed for visiting places of interest.

Lighting in the kitchen was a little dim

"Loved our stay"

8.0

The cottage is lovely and quirky with lounge being upstairs, well equipped/clean and great location for exploring the north east countryside. Local shop is brilliant nothing they don’t sell and not over priced. Lovely welcome pack of milk/tea/biscuits and wine.

The hot water wasn’t hot and couldn’t work out how to turn it up. Could do with bigger bed as it’s only a double, being tall this was a little uncomfortable. TV is a bit intermittent but no real problem. The information pack could do with updating as some things were well out of date.

"Great stay and great location to allow us to explore Northumberland."

9.0

Lots of space, big kitchen and living area and handy parking.

Wished the fridge had a freezer drawer, or even better a freezer as well as a fridge.

I loved everything. A beautiful cottage in a lovely village.

Just one tiny criticism. The twin bed room really needs a mirror. We were two female friends having to share the same space to do our hair.
