it was a beautiful space to relax in we loved the layout and all the facilities with a great cooker, dishwasher and lots of pots and pans. it was beautiful and clean and the chill out areas were perfect too.

couldn’t get the overhead cooker lights to work this and the lighting in the kitchen was a bit dark. we cook a lot and found it a dark space as evening came but we moved lamps from other areas to help.

location, especially next to the running fox care and artisan bakery. Clean , spacious and comfortable. Good base to tour Northumberland and it’s beautiful beaches. Dog friendly with enclosed garden.

would be good to have a small freezer and rug in lounge had a few stains that needed cleaning

we were met by a lovely lady who handed us the keys.. We were left a bottle of wine milk tea and biscuits always a nice thought. the village has everything you need, and a special green space especially for dogs, which was great for our dog to exercise off the lead. The cottage was immaculate inside ,clean and well appointed and a excellent location to be based for visiting all the lovely areas of Northumberland. The fish and chip van visits on Tuesday worth a visit lovely food.

every thing was fine except sometimes the tv didn`t work.

Location easy access to the local area 8 mile from Alnwick 8 mile from Morpeth great local dog field and friendly locals.

Spacious and very well equipped accomodation, in an excellent location. We stayed for a week, and could easily have spend another week with all the attractions in short driving distance (between 10 minutes and 1 hour), like Alnwick, the National Park, Holy Island, etc.

The pictures of the accomodation on Booking are not accurate, the accomodation is so much nicer than on the fotos. There is a nice terrace (maybe add another 2 chairs and a bigger table), a separate room for the washing, and all the rooms are so much more spacious and light than on the fotos.
