"A lovely cottage in a beautiful location. Would definitely recommend"

Location, layout, homely feel, very comfortable.

Could have been a little cleaner. Cutlery and plates had old dried food and stains on. Toilet obviously hadn’t been cleaned between visits as visible urine stains under seat when we first arrived.

"We were happy to extend our stay!"

Dog-friendly, clean, spacious, fully equipped and the welcome basket was a nice touch. The Running Fox cafe within walking distance is a delight for breakfast and afternoon tea. The village has a good butcher and corner shop too. The property is so conveniently located as a base to explore the Northumberland National Park, Kielder Water & Forest and Northumberland coast that we extended our stay!

Great location for going to local sea side areas and countryside. Easy to find.

I couldnt work out how to use the heating system. Although there were instructions.. .i couldnt work it out.
